16 Then the survivors from all the nations that have attacked Jerusalem will go up year after year to worship the King, the Lord Almighty, and to celebrate the Festival of Tabernacles.

17 If any of the peoples of the earth do not go up to Jerusalem to worship the King, the Lord Almighty, they will have no rain.

18 If the Egyptian people do not go up and take part, they will have no rain. The Lord will bring on them the plague he inflicts on the nations that do not go up to celebrate the Festival of Tabernacles.

19 This will be the punishment of Egypt and the punishment of all the nations that do not go up to celebrate the Festival of Tabernacles.

ZECHARIAH 14:16-19

JERUSALEM WILL RISE TO BECOME THE CAPITAL OF THE EARTH

20 On that day holy to the Lord will be inscribed on the bells of the horses, and the cooking pots in the Lord’s house will be like the sacred bowls in front of the altar.

21 Every pot in Jerusalem and Judah will be holy to the Lord Almighty, and all who come to sacrifice will take some of the pots and cook in them. And on that day there will no longer be a Canaanite[c] in the house of the Lord Almighty.

ZECHARIAH 14:20-21

JERUSALEM NEVER AGAIN DESTROYED.

10 The whole land, from Geba to Rimmon, south of Jerusalem, will become like the Arabah. But Jerusalem will be raised up high from the Benjamin Gate to the site of the First Gate, to the Corner Gate, and from the Tower of Hananel to the royal winepresses, and will remain in its place.

11 It will be inhabited; never again will it be destroyed. Jerusalem will be secure.

ZECHARIAH 14:10-11

JERUSALEM WILL BE THE CAPITAL OF THE WORLD, THE CENTER OF THE NATIONS…AND ALL NATIONS WILL COME TO JERUSALEM.

In the last days

the mountain of the Lord’s temple will be established
    as the highest of the mountains;
it will be exalted above the hills,
    and all nations will stream to it.

Many peoples will come and say,

“Come, let us go up to the mountain of the Lord,
    to the temple of the God of Jacob.
He will teach us his ways,
    so that we may walk in his paths.”
The law will go out from Zion,
    the word of the Lord from Jerusalem.
He will judge between the nations
    and will settle disputes for many peoples.
They will beat their swords into plowshares
    and their spears into pruning hooks.
Nation will not take up sword against nation,
    nor will they train for war anymore.

ISAIAH 2:2-4

“This is what the Sovereign Lord says: This is Jerusalem, which I have set in the center of the nations, with countries all around her.

EZEKIEL 5:5

THE EARTH (ESPECIALLY ISRAEL) WILL BECOME “LIKE THE GARDEN OF EDEN”

35 They will say, “This land that was laid waste has become like the garden of Eden; the cities that were lying in ruins, desolate and destroyed, are now fortified and inhabited.”

EZEKIEL 36:35

THE DESERT WILL REJOICE AND BLOSSOM AS THE ROSE  AND THE PARCHED GROUND WILL BECOME A POOL

The burning sand will become a pool,
    the thirsty ground bubbling springs.
In the haunts where jackals once lay,
    grass and reeds and papyrus will grow.

ISAIAH 35:7

THERE WILL BE PEACE EVERYWHERE. PEOPLE WILL “BEAT THEIR SWORDS INTO PLOWSHARES” AND THERE WILL BE WAR NO MORE

In the last days

the mountain of the Lord’s temple will be established
    as the highest of the mountains;
it will be exalted above the hills,
    and all nations will stream to it.

Many peoples will come and say,

“Come, let us go up to the mountain of the Lord,
    to the temple of the God of Jacob.
He will teach us his ways,
    so that we may walk in his paths.”
The law will go out from Zion,
    the word of the Lord from Jerusalem.
He will judge between the nations
    and will settle disputes for many peoples.
They will beat their swords into plowshares
    and their spears into pruning hooks.
Nation will not take up sword against nation,
    nor will they train for war anymore.

ISAIAH 2:2-4

WOLVES AND LAMBS WILL FEED TOGETHER, AND EVEN THE LIONS WILL EAT STRAW LIKE THE BULLOCK

25 The wolf and the lamb will feed together,
    and the lion will eat straw like the ox,
    and dust will be the serpent’s food.
They will neither harm nor destroy
    on all my holy mountain,”
says the Lord.

ISAIAH 65:25

ANIMALS WILL ONCE AGAIN BE FRIENDLY TO ONE ANOTHER AND TO HUMANS. THE WOLF WILL LIE DOWN WITH THE LAMB, AND THE LEOPARD WITH THE BABY GOATS. LITTLE CHILDREN WILL BE ABLE TO PLAY NEAR SERPENTS WITHOUT FEAR

The wolf will live with the lamb,
    the leopard will lie down with the goat,
the calf and the lion and the yearling[a] together;
    and a little child will lead them.
The cow will feed with the bear,
    their young will lie down together,
    and the lion will eat straw like the ox.
The infant will play near the cobra’s den,
    and the young child will put its hand into the viper’s nest.

ISAIAH 11:6-8

PEOPLE WHO LIVE DURING THE MILLENNIUM WILL NOT DIE YOUNG. A PERSON ONE HUNDRED YEARS OLD WILL BE CONSIDERED A CHILD, SINCE, PRESUMABLY, A PERSON COULD LIVE THROUGHOUT THE 1000 YEARS IN THE RESTORED ENVIRONMENT

20 “Never again will there be in it
    an infant who lives but a few days,
    or an old man who does not live out his years;
the one who dies at a hundred
    will be thought a mere child;
the one who fails to reach[a] a hundred
    will be considered accursed.
21 They will build houses and dwell in them;
    they will plant vineyards and eat their fruit.
22 No longer will they build houses and others live in them,
    or plant and others eat.
For as the days of a tree,
    so will be the days of my people;
my chosen ones will long enjoy
    the work of their hands.
23 They will not labor in vain,
    nor will they bear children doomed to misfortune;
for they will be a people blessed by the Lord,
    they and their descendants with them.

ISAIAH 65:20-23

SICKNESS WILL NOT BE A PROBLEM BECAUSE “THE SUN OF RIGHTEOUSNESS SHALL ARISE WITH HEALING IN ITS WINGS”

But for you who revere my name, the sun of righteousness will rise with healing in its rays. And you will go out and frolic like well-fed calves.

MALACHI 4:2

THE EARTH WILL BE FRUITFUL, AND THERE WILL BE NO FAMINE

27 The trees will yield their fruit and the ground will yield its crops; the people will be secure in their land. They will know that I am the Lord, when I break the bars of their yoke and rescue them from the hands of those who enslaved them.

28 They will no longer be plundered by the nations, nor will wild animals devour them. They will live in safety, and no one will make them afraid.

29 I will provide for them a land renowned for its crops, and they will no longer be victims of famine in the land or bear the scorn of the nations.

EZEKIEL 34:27-29

THE TREES…SHALL CLAP THEIR HANDS, AND INSTEAD OF THORNS THERE WILL BE TREES

12 You will go out in joy
    and be led forth in peace;
the mountains and hills
    will burst into song before you,
and all the trees of the field
    will clap their hands.
13 Instead of the thornbush will grow the juniper,
    and instead of briers the myrtle will grow.
This will be for the Lord’s renown,
    for an everlasting sign,
    that will endure forever.”

ISAIAH 55:12-13

KING’S NAME

The Lord will be king over the whole earth. On that day there will be one Lord, and his name the only name.

ZECHARIAH 14:9

THE MESSIAH WILL BE KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS, AND OF THE INCREASE OF HIS GOVERNMENT THERE WILL BE NO END

For to us a child is born,
    to us a son is given,
    and the government will be on his shoulders.
And he will be called
    Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God,
    Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.
Of the greatness of his government and peace
    there will be no end.
He will reign on David’s throne
    and over his kingdom,
establishing and upholding it
    with justice and righteousness
    from that time on and forever.
The zeal of the Lord Almighty
    will accomplish this.

ISAIAH 9:6-7

DAVID WILL REIGN AS KING OVER ISRAEL, AND PRESUMABLY, EACH NATION WILL ALSO HAVE ITS GODLY KING WHO WILL ANSWER TO THE MESSIAH, THE KING OF KINGS

23 I will place over them one shepherd, my servant David, and he will tend them; he will tend them and be their shepherd.

24 I the Lord will be their God, and my servant David will be prince among them. I the Lordhave spoken.

EZEKIEL 34:23-24

24 “‘My servant David will be king over them, and they will all have one shepherd. They will follow my laws and be careful to keep my decrees.

25 They will live in the land I gave to my servant Jacob, the land where your ancestors lived. They and their children and their children’s children will live there forever, and David my servant will be their prince forever.

EZEKIEL 37:24-25

MESSIAH WILL BUILD A NEW (FOURTH) TEMPLE, THE GREAT TEMPLE DESCRIBED IN THE FINAL CHAPTERS OF EZEKIEL. THIS TEMPLE WILL BE USED FOR MEMORIAL SACRIFICES

39 In the portico of the gateway were two tables on each side, on which the burnt offerings, sin offerings and guilt offerings were slaughtered.

40 By the outside wall of the portico of the gateway, near the steps at the entrance of the north gateway were two tables, and on the other side of the steps were two tables.

41 So there were four tables on one side of the gateway and four on the other—eight tables in all—on which the sacrifices were slaughtered.

42 There were also four tables of dressed stone for the burnt offerings, each a cubit and a half long, a cubit and a half wide and a cubit high. On them were placed the utensils for slaughtering the burnt offerings and the other sacrifices.

43 And double-pronged hooks, each a handbreadth long, were attached to the wall all around. The tables were for the flesh of the offerings.

EZEKIEL 40:39-43

NO SIN OR REBELLION WILL BE ALLOWED, BECAUSE THE LORD WILL WITHHOLD RAIN AND SEND PLAGUES ON ANY WHO WOULD REBEL

The Lord[a] will bring on them the plague he inflicts on the nations that do not go up to celebrate the Festival of Tabernacles.

19 This will be the punishment of Egypt and the punishment of all the nations that do not go up to celebrate the Festival of Tabernacles.

ZECHARIAH 14:16-19

THE LORD WILL PUT A NEW SPIRIT WHOSE HOME IS ON EARTH

19 I will give them an undivided heart and put a new spirit in them; I will remove from them their heart of stone and give them a heart of flesh.

EZEKIEL 11:19

EVERYTHING WILL BE CONSIDERED SANCTIFIED OR “HOLY.” EVEN THE BELLS AND POTS WILL BE HOLY TO THE LORD

And on that day there will no longer be a Canaanite[a] in the house of the Lord Almighty.

ZECHARIAH 14:20-21

MULTITUDES WHO SLEEP IN THE DUST OF THE EARTH WILL AWAKE: SOME TO EVERLASTING LIFE, OTHERS TO SHAME AND EVERLASTING CONTEMPT.

12 “At that time Michael, the great prince who protects your people, will arise. There will be a time of distress such as has not happened from the beginning of nations until then. But at that time your people—everyone whose name is found written in the book—will be delivered.

Multitudes who sleep in the dust of the earth will awake: some to everlasting life, others to shame and everlasting contempt.

DANIEL 12:1-2
