Corrective Answer - Humanity

Section 6: Humanity

We believe that humanity came into existence by direct creation of God and that humanity is uniquely made in the image and likeness of God (Genesis 1:26-27).

Fantasy Correction;

God created Man. O.K.  Made in his image and likeness.  Why?  Because you read that in the Old Testament, a book which labels Christians as Idol worshipers and who violate many many commandments written in that book.  What exactly does image and likeness mean?  Saying you believe in an extremely vague concept is like saying nothing.  It is name dropping from the Old Testament to give credibility to the status of "Follow me.  Don't think."

We believe that all humanity, because of Adam's fall, has inherited a sinful nature, that all human beings choose to sin (Romans 3:23), and that all sin is exceedingly offensive to God (Romans 6:23).

Fantasy Correction;

Christians believe the Old Testament is no longer in effect yet site verses from the Old Testament all the time.  They believe the stories of the Old Testament.  They believe that Adam sinned and that no one sinned before that.  They don't even understand the Adam story but they know that Adam is to cause and is responsible for everyone having a sinful nature.   They say that "all sin" is "exceedingly offensive" to God.  Yet they have degrees of sinful nature in their dogma.  They just somehow know God so well and deny that God will get a little offensive at a small sin.  They state that a person chooses to sin … so I guess that mistake or ignorance makes an action exempt from being a sin.

Humanity is utterly unable to remedy this fallen state (Ephesians 2:1-5,12).

Fantasy Correction;

"utterly unable" … to remedy humanity's fallen state. So why do we need the Christian religion?  Christians can not help by their own statement.   It is helpless to be disciplined; helpless to teach others to be good people.  According to Christians we are doomed as a civilization.  But of course they are going to say they are exempt from being "humanity."
